Houdenbek MTB Routes
All routes start from Houdenbek Farm. Exit the main gate, turn onto the tar road for 500 m, then turn left (at the red arrow) onto the jeep track, passing through the gate and following the marked red arrows. The routes consist of a mix of single track and jeep track, with bridges, river crossings, and natural obstacles along the way. Routes can also be found on Strava or RidemyGPS.
Please remember to take enough water with you, ride in pairs or share your expected return time, and respect the environment by taking everything you bring along back with you. Wildlife may be encountered along the way. Baboons are generally harmless but should be approached with caution. Mountain biking can be dangerous, so always ride responsibly and wear a helmet. Cell phone reception is available on both of the big dam walls. Most importantly, enjoy the ride and take care.
